The security company
Scanit is an IT security boutique specializing in ethical hacking, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and security configuration reviews.We seek to assist our customers in the testing and auditing of their security systems and controls. This allows our customers to concentrate fully on their core business, while still being able to identify areas which are at risk and in need of improvement.
To this end, Scanit provides services ranging from high-tech penetration testing over application source code review, risk assessments and management-level security audits, to security courses.
Scanit is located in Brussels, Belgium and operates in Belgium and abroad. We have customers in Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg, France, Austria, Lithuania and the Middle East.
History
Scanit started as Belgacom's internal tiger team. Due to customer interest, a separate company was created in 2001 so the services could be offered to parties outside Belgacom. Following a buy-out in 2003 the company has since then become fully independent.The Scanit Way
